Cappuccino Brownies Recipe

Helllllooooo.... giggle. I have now been working for about 2 months at a GM/Nissan dealership as a receptionist. Boy was it hard learning who takes which phones calls for what and all in the beginning. I was a case of nerves. Now that I am settled into the position a bit better I Have to tell you the scene from my angle. The new stimulus program C.A.R.S or as it is reffered to as "cash for clunkers". Is such a head ache. This is really a scary thing for the car dealerships. They have a TON of paperwork to file to get their money and if they don't get the paperwork in by Monday and into the government computer system by Monday night and everything just right they will not recieve this money. With the bankruptcy of GM we can't order any new cars in and the lot has practically been cleared out of the popular models of new cars. Which is actually good because they are selling the stock that they have in case the dealership has to close and then they will have less inventory to worry about and it is good for business in general. The dealership has to have a certificate from a junk yard stating that these cluncker cars have been destroyed, or at least the engines. The rest of the car can be recycled for parts. If they don't get these certificates from the junk yards in time they may not get their money. If the registration on the car was not up to date and there was an interruption in registration they may not get their money. If the computers are overloaded on Monday and they don't get these deals in on time they may not get their money.

And it is bad for these people too they have to sign a waiver that states they are responsible if the dealership does not get their money and their cars have already been destroyed!!!! They can bring back the new cars that have been purchased for something cheaper but their old car is gone.

This is good for the ecomomy but also has a few loop holes that can be a nightmare for the car dealerships. I think where I work we completed some car deals with the program in the first week multiply that by $3500 or $4500 and YIKES! I just hope that they are not left hanging through this. Well enough blab blah blah about the C.A.R.S. program.

12-2 Dec Sweet Tart Kit is up

Let's talk about food. YUM! I dieted the two weeks prior to the holiday and lost 11 pounds. I did gain 3 pounds over this week and I am back at it trying to lose 'the weight'. I have gained nearly 15 pounds since leaving my walking job in March 08. OH MY :O My guy friend seems to be happy with my decision as well even though he enjoyed my pies and could afford to diet along with me hee hee.

Speaking of pie... I sent some along to my very good friend and she in turn had someone over for tea. I did after all give her a quarter of each pie, apple and pumpkin. Well, it turns out that I received quite a compliment. She thought that the pumpkin pie was the best that she had ever had!!!! ROOT ROOT, coolness. :D well I have to admit I thought that they were really good this time too. ;) She has ordered a pie from me!

I love to bake and my Mom passed on her talent and interest in this area to me. I enjoy it for the theraputic qualities( all that stirring- you can really take out your anger sometimes KWIM?) and the thrill of getting the chemistry just right and also to make it prettified LOL! That is my son's word LMBO. The problem with baking is the fact that I have to find a home for it. Well, usually not too difficult hahahaaa. So along the lines of food...

11-30 Holiday Recipes

I hope that everyone had a good Thanksgiving for those who celebrate this holiday. I baked this pie for thanksgiving and it is the best that i ever had a pie turn out and it was really yummy too!

Now back to the dieting rahahahaaa. I have lost 11 pounds in two weeks.

Well what a day! I opened up my e-mail to quite a surprise...





:D I week ago I sent in an original recipe to a local TV station. They use viewer recipies on Wednesdays for the cooking segment.



My recipe was chosen to be on today. WOOT!



I love to combine my digital scrapbooking and my love of food so I sent a scrapped recipe card in and my salad was made on TV this afternoon. Woo Hoo!



They made it a funny story as I forgot about a pot luck picnic one time and threw this together from what I had in the fridge and the pantry and by accident came up with this pasta salad. It has a bunch of cucumbers in it and a refreshing taste so I named it Refreshing Salad. It is funny because of the circumstances! ROFL

And I won a $50 gift certificate to a home delivery grocery store too and free delivery.


The salad has ingredients in it that are available here in the States. I wish that everyone could try it.

Love Biscotti? I surely do. Yum! Before I found digi scrapping I used to be in the kitchen all the time making goodies and taking them in to work. This is a recipe that I tried along the way and it is a keeper! Bake it three times to get it nice and crisp It is so totally worth it! Just like the store bought versions. The recipe is on a 4x6 size so you can glue the two pages together for the complete directions. These are really great to attractively wrap for christmas or for cookie exchanges.

Look Ma! no hands! The easy things in life... All you need to do with quick albums is open software like photoshop or scrapbookmax and then open another layer and open your photo and place it in the pre cut out hole in the layout design. save it and WOWzers, how easy is that? Journalling and wording text may be added at this time. You can print it out and cut it to shape it fits the cardboard bracket albums found in the craft and scrapbooking stores. This is a bracket album I made up for Beth and Rachel for the kit What a Rush. I saw this surfing theme shower curtain a couple months ago and thought of thier bright and bold designs immediately. They had not worked together before that and I suggested a surf theme with those colors. I am happy to announce this fun summery and beach surf collaboration kit WHAT A RUSH at gottapixel
