Sweet Tart Freebie Cold as Ice

A layout that I made with Cold as Ice Freebie.

This wonderfully chilly kit for you for November...Cold as Ice. I hope that you enjoy it.

I will be scrapping with this my self as it is raining ice this week. Good thing to be in the house all warm and cozy on days like these. It is coming down in pellets, just like finely crushed ice. I was supposed to drive 45+ miles to Firbault, MN today to do a temp assignment but I have been sick... Would you believe that a person can be allegic to anti-persperant/deoderant??? I have hives, LOL And to top it off my body decided to do a systemic reaction it did not stay put.I itch all over. My body decided to declar war on my skin and it is not a happy dance at the moment :PPPPPPppppPPppp Oh my!!!

At the first of the month, well 11-1 exactly my son went to play american football with his buddies down the block and hurt himself pretty badly on one of the first tackles. He played injured for several hours and called me to come pick him up in the dark. He then complained that he could not straighten out his pinky finger and that it felt numb. Oh, my!!! I took one look at that swollen hand and went straight to the emergency room at the hospital. They sent him immediately to the X-ray department, do not pass GO! LOL! They sent for a surgical consult too. He had a bad fracture. It was really displaced and wide open oon a twist as he did a spiral fracture. They stretched out his hand and fingers in this wire device called finger traps, Ouch! Last Wednesday we went to the surgical wing in the hospital and they took some new X-rays and what a relief! He did not need surgery the doctor in the ER set the bone very well. It is all aligned very neatly and healing fast, they put a black fiberglass cast on it and he returns in more weeks to get it checked and they are predicting to downgrade to a brace at that time. My to be young and have fun. And to heal so quickly ;)
